Clinical research in urothelial carcinoma spans tumours of the bladder and upper urinary tract, with attention to disease that requires surgery and to rare histological subtypes. The studies also examine neoadjuvant immunotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibition in relation to tumour shrinkage and immune activity.
